Genoese Pesto is perfect with the traditional trofie and testaroli.
In summer, use Pesto Genovese to stuff cherry tomatoes for a delicious appetizer. Mixed with ricotta cheese or béchamel, Pesto is also the filling of a wonderfully unusual Lasagna. In Liguria, a teaspoon of Pesto is tradionally added to a bowl of good vegetables minestrone soup.
